The Samsung AA DP0NE2B / E is compatible with the Galaxy Note 10.1. You just have to pay attention to either the included stylus to pull out or turn off the battery-saving mode in the S-Pen settings because otherwise the second pin is not recognized Inserted standard stylus.
Unfortunately at this pin just the hard standard Wacom-tips are about their writing experience on the glass of the Tablets I feel uncomfortable. The standard stylus of the Note 10.1 will indeed ship with Flex Nibs, but unfortunately I had to realize that this is thinner and shorter Nibs who can not adhere to the Samsung AA-DP0NE2B / E Pen. So you can not use in this pen tips that are included with the Galaxy Note 10.1.
So I had the same again to spend money to buy my Wacom ACK-20004 Flexible pen nibs for Intuos4 (5-pack). The Intuos nibs are compatible with the Samsung AA-DP0NE2B / E and equipped so that the pin has the same pleasant writing experience on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as the supplied stylus.
TIP 1: With the Samsung AA-DP0NE2B / E is at an angle pin held the line on the screen more than offset with the included stylus of the Galaxy Note 10.1. Apparently this is because the pen tip from the AA DP0NE2B / E protrudes further than the supplied (short) Stylus. Calibration not offering the tablet.
The problem can be simply fix that one, the pen tip before inserting the flat end (ie not on the rounded tip with the writing) with a nail file by about 1mm abfeilt, so that the tip as far protrudes as in the included stylus. The function is not affected, but the offset at an angle held pen sinks so to the same extent as in the supplied stylus Galaxy Note 10.1.
TIP 2: If, like me, sometimes has a problem in that you press the toggle switch by mistake, can the rubber ring with the replacement tips are bundled together to push through the pin so that it is located on the rear end of the toggle switch. This toggle switch is difficult to operate.
In the package are:
- Pen with a white standard pen tip / Nib / Mine
- 5 standard white pen tips / Nibs
- Top puller tool for easy pulling out of the pen tip
Product Details:
- Shape: cylindrical (not square like the standard stylus of 10.1)
- Length (without tip, but with eraser): 138mm
- Diameter: 9mm
- Weight (with pickled tip): 9g
- Pressure-sensitive pen tip
- 1 toggle switch
- Pressure-sensitive "eraser" on the pin end
The pressure sensitivity of the tip of the eraser and the toggle switch are supported by the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
I give 1 star deduction because:
a) although much cheaper than Wacom pens, still overly expensive
b) only one kind of pen tips here; Who Flex Nibs preferred pay extra
c) the pressure stage of the erasers are not good. First you have to press quite strongly, so that it responds and then the pressure range for Grobmotoriker like me is too small
