Having already read the books of Mhairi McFarlane, I so eager to buy this novel.
In fact I had some difficulties to hang the first sentences, maybe too the author forces the line on Anna.
However after a few chapters, I let myself be carried away by history, and especially the main character whose replicas are scathing.
Interactions between James and Anna are tasty, there a lot of humor and without any of this makes it a very good contemporary romance book.
