Convenient but very limited and not true 50 € discount

I bought this little device without enough information, being very depressed, and I had to return it to Amazon's return policy which is really great to replace it with a small touchscreen PC because it has proven inadequate for use I wanted to do.

Indeed, it is small, lightweight, very fast to start and stop, the screen is very responsive and 11.6 inches, it's much better than 10 inches, and the keyboard is very convenient. Great for those who need to surf the internet for fun during journeys.

For, you must not buy it if you want to work with, as was my case: in fact, no possibility of installing Microsoft Office there, (not to mention other professional programs). The Office Beta version is for non-professional use. Second, the device is almost useless to work if there is no 3G subscription and there is no WiFi available because it stores documents in the cloud and not on the device itself. Offline Work is hard.

It is also clear that Skype does not work with chromebooks and must use "hang out", a similar Google site, but hey, if we ask his friends to open an account "hang out" ...

Finally, attention to promoting "discount of 50 euros," Personally, it did not work for me as impossible to recognize the serial number (and, incidentally, also impossible to register the product on the Acer site ). Unclear if Acer had finally recognized his mistake, since I have returned the device now, I still think that it's done on purpose to discourage customers to obtain the discount, which must be requested within 10 days of purchase.

So great device at a low price to who buys it by accepting its limitations.
