Convincing quality - Sigg halt

Who says outdoor, must also say Sigg. For decades, the name stands for quality Sigg, when it comes to transporting liquids.
My acquired about 30 years ago fuel bottle still holds tightly. The time around the same time acquired Bottle is still tight and keeps cold drinks cool for a long time.
Sure, both bottles show clear signs of wear, but fulfill their purpose as the first day.

The matt shining, red finish looks classy. The build quality is as you would expect from Sigg, first class.
Sure, the threads are made of plastic, which is however in my view, no problem. If you do not realize it invests, the closure canted set up and screwed in by force, there are no problems. In 10 attempts, I have managed not a single time, the shutter set up so that I run the risk of making the thread broken.

The extra wide opening even ice for cooling can be used, even if it is in my view not necessary. The cleaning is also going through the large opening, a breeze.

I bought this bottle for the new cycling season, since I, when it is very warm, much sweat and accordingly a heavy drinker, it had to be the 1.5l bottle ...... it can still be stowed and raised in backpack the weight is not too high in the filled state. This might be achieved by a normal PET water bottle from the supermarket, but the liquid is at 2 hours drive in gaudy sun pisswarm. That is not so in the SIGG bottle: Refrigerate filled, the liquid is still sufficiently cool even after hours of driving.
The bottles are tasteless, almost goes without saying.

My conclusion: a strong buy recommendation, with the extra-large opening all.
Those who value a first class workmanship Bottle for transporting cooled fluids, comes to the Sigg water bottles not over.
