For the assembly, I have decided to leave the board installed. I at least prima approached due to the generous housing from behind the breakpoints, I could Preassemble related accessories well to instructions. The actual installation was a little more difficult because you can hardly see because of the size of the fan some of the screw points and the seat on the CPU can not understand at all. Here is an expansion of the Main-boards would be perhaps advisable.
With me but everything worked well, I could quickly see at comparisons to Intel CPU fan. On temperature information I refrain at this point, because with me three more fans (front, top, rear) are fitted next to the CPU cooler and bring these additional cooling. Only this: I have so far failed, over 52 ° C CPU Temp. to come and never was of the fan more than a small voice heard. Highly recommended for people who suffer from fan noise!
Visually, the Dark Rock Pro 3 to its name. A dark block! That definitely makes a menacing impression. It is a pity that you probably have to light it in addition to also recognize the part well, otherwise you will really only the black cover plate of the unit true (assuming you have a window in the housing, so that one sees anything!). Own lighting: None.
Another note for space: The fans can be as fixed with simple wire clamps on the cooling fins, change in position. Can possibly bring the necessary millimeters. For bold and hobbyists the tip that one also the radiator fins for example with a Dremel can Shorten something in order to create the necessary space for the RAM banks (but do not cut into the pipes !!!).
In summary, a real buy recommendation! One star deduction for the height of the RAM banks (as would the manufacturers can drauflegen a few millimeters without any problems) and the lack of lighting design.
