The duo Mrs. Green Bird is an example of that can come from casting shows good and authentic music: With an acoustic ballad version of Ramones- Punk hits "Blitzkrieg Bop", the two were playing in my heart, and I am happy for them, when they won the competition against nice, but facial and profile poor competitors. The "well-intentioned advice" of the "expert jury" I had to ignore this, however, consistently. The victory produced as price hit single "Shooting Stars and Fairy Tales" was too streamlined, on the debut album, however, found themselves promising approaches.

I have seen the sympathetic duo plus live band last week and have let me convince you of catchy songs, predominantly acoustic instrumentation, rock-solid accompanists, crystal clear sound and an authentic, credible appearance. "Postcards" I have since heard several times and think it's sound and song moderately better than the debut. Musically, it is timeless Countrypop with a certain Hippieattitüde. The atmospheric opener "Dark Horses" is reminiscent of the Common Linnets, then it is independent. The pop "Everyone's the same" is my second out tip. Only the squirrel Ode "Good old Ricky" has come a little too silly, but I'm probably not fan enough.

I feel Mrs.Greenbird as an enrichment of the German music scene. Therefore I round of four and a half stars up on.
