The CPU runs at all original 6 cores with 2.7GHz and 1.3V and 3 cores in Turbo with 3.2GHz and 1.4V
Unlike my old CPU (3.0GHz Athlon X2) a significant increase in power consumption and heat generation can be observed under load yet, so I was forced to optimize the ventilation of my body slightly.
Currently, the CPU runs with me at all 6 cores with 3.2GHz at 1.25V and the Turbo with 3.8GHz at 1,32v. If we are to believe the contributions in relevant Internet forums are those values only average. By simultaneously under voltes and overclock the consumption remains roughly the same. :-)
The CPU has massive power and by the 6 cores can divide the Windows 7 threads beautifully, so that the CPU even while surfing the net almost always remains at the lowest level clock.
So CPU with good price / performance ratio and good overclocking potential
- A point I see from since Intel offers comparable performance with less power consumption.
--- Addendum ---
The included fan is a joke, the same was there already with my old dual core for the heat development of this CPU.
I use a Alpenföhn Broken and this has been good to fight with the CPU.
