Normally I'm not one who diligently write to those reviews on products, but in this case I was the enthusiasm my last achievement to move but a short feedback about this Running Watch give. I was previously in possession of a Polar Running Watch (200sd) incl. Foot Pod. The Polar clock has quite a bit in terms of the Board functions, actually everything what you need to run. However, what has always bothered me is susceptible to interference Pulse and quite inaccurate distance measurement with the foot pod unless man does not change regularly running shoes as I do and calibrated and the sensor. But seriously who does that because, most maybe at the beginning with the Neulust but certainly not later. The result is a quite inaccurate distance measurement. Add to that the battery replacement policy of Polar. User replaceable battery for the clock is not possible, can only charge via Polar Service. Wers still makes itself then gets the receipt, warranty and water in the clock. What made me even more disturbed was the transfer of run data to the PC via Sonic link. Because I wonder really in what age we are moving. Actually, I was on the verge zuzulegen the top model from Polar. Again, I have really annoyed me that the current RS800CX nothing strange new special is only a slightly modified RS 800SD. Transmission of data via infrared is then also not really convinced me, but at least the batteries you can now change itself. Actually, I knew the course sector nothing but Polar watches have until I encountered the running watch Garmin. I first looked at the Forerunner 305 in detail and was not that I've looked at the clock closer impressed first time by the incredible number of really great reviews. The Forerunner 310 XT is the successor to the 305 and I have to say all that I've missed in the Arctic I think at this clock again. For distance measurement no longer foot pod is needed because in the clock, a GPS receiver is installed. When first run I was initially disappointed as I have assumed that the clock deviates too much from the real distance. I always run a distance of 10 kilometers and was about 400 meters before the finish already. However, it has been found later that the measurement of the Polar sensor was totally wrong because I have the route again roughly measured with Goggle and co. In fact, the measurement of the Forerunners had to agree. To go quite sure I'm still a calibrated 400 m train running with the Forerunner. Result of the clock: Exactly 400 meters, or more precisely it is no longer well. Then the pulse measurement. Wherever Polar always misfire had (z. B. near Hochspannungsmästen) measures the Foreunner diligently the pulse and indeed extremely accurately. The Pulse of the Forerunner is Subjectively at least as best as polar but not as susceptible to interference (bisger I still had no dropouts). The Forerunner has a battery that holds about 20 hours and can be easily loaded. So send in no more to the manufacturer consistently battery change. The transfer of run data is a dream. The Works nähmlich automatically once I find myself with the clock near the PC in them to do anything without my radio. The readability of the clock is bombastic, a really useful backlight is also available. Waterproof the clock is even. I could write now and on. But the fact is that there is probably no better Running Watch on the market currently. Whether you really need all the functions which must each decide for themselves. A disadvantage of the clock I do not want but also conceal. The Forerunner is a pure sports instrument and is not to be used as Alltaguhr due to its size. The Polar heart rate monitors can be used to stop this as a normal clock. For me, however, that was not decisive jetz because I always use a different clock for because everyday. A purchase criterion but maybe the Polar buying was the training software Polar ProTrainer 5 which must really be very useful. However, I can use the Forerunner with the training software SportTracks 3.0 when you even additional plugins (similar Firfox) install (eg. As to add the weather information for temp. And wind). All I can say in connection with this software this clock is truly unbeatable. Feedback is now but become a little longer than I wanted. Maybe you can help so my review in the purchasing decision. However, I am glad to have finally found the right.
