This book is highly appealing to my 3 year old son. The small turtle story is nice because it's funny and cute at the same time could happen to the child. In addition it also has a subtext, the joy of discovering the world of books and imagination, and thus depth and interest to 2nd degree, which is too often missing in other books I think.
