DA-70200 Hard Drive Adapter

The adapter is really recommendable!
My old computer no longer wanted, so there was only the possibility of throwing it away. Only the hard disks and the data on it have prevented me from throwing the thing in the trash.
So I thought to myself, I buy me something like an adapter.
Did it only with a docking station for trying scarce 20th
The problem with it was that the thing has just taken SATA hard drives.
Although OK, that was my mistake, but if you compare price / performance, it is found that one in the adapter here has a much better product.
Although the docking station for comparison looked much better, but that's it.
It has something cost 17 to 20 and only SATA HDDs accepted.
However, our adapter costs only between 15 and 16 and fits in SATA -> and so incidentally also supports ATA / ATAPI Ultra DMA Mode, PACKET Command feature set and LBA48 bit addressing.
As you can see the description, it runs on Windows (XP, Vista and 7) and on the Mac. Whether it runs on Linux I do not know, but that can be determined on getting up and running.

As you can see is sometimes less really is more (as far as the price here).

On the packaging there is a tutorial for each disk type.
But even without the manual I succeeded right away my IDE hard drive to connect with my netbook and to access the data.
The drivers CD that this was not even I have taken out of the package - everything went without (Windows 7).

It's so easy to connect the adapter that would unravel even a chimp with blindfold!

According to another recession you have in an IDE hard drive (40-pin) only to be careful that you set the plug exactly pins. Namely, it can easily happen that you too far offset all left, leaving only 38 pins are male and 2 not because a little leeway exists.
However, the problem I had not.

Finally, the data were saved and backed up to my netbook and I had everything back what I needed, I formatted my 2 old hard drives and thanks to the adapter to "external" hard drives converted, that I can now use at will.
