Damn good device

I bought the radio for the kitchen of my parents. When unpacking, I was surprised. The Matallfront makes the radio look very high, as is the case of genuine walnut wood.
That it looks not only quality, but also otherwise is high top, I noticed at the first audition. Very good bass and clear treble. Finally a compact radio that sounds good too. I did not expect.
On the back there is a bass reflex hole. It is therefore quite depends on where the appliance is installed.

Plus points:

+ Jack on the back for eg MP3 player.
+ Easy to read display (dimmable backlight (light, dark, dark, off))
+ RDS
+ Internal antenna switch with internal or external
+ Rec Out

Minus:
- It is not easy to set the alarm. So you have to know only how to do that (manual). When it then it goes also.
- 5 station end memory is a bit scarce.
- The internal transformer is in my copy a slight hum of itself. This could interfere under certain circumstances when the device presents itself as an alarm clock next to the bed.
I simply hang a range external power supply. Standby consumption has dropped to 3 watts.
- The minimum display brightness is to sleep for one or the other may be a great light as the Sangean RCR-5.. I have now

Now we have the radio with us in the kitchen and I have one in my room as an alarm clock. A buddy has also purchased one with enthusiasm. Is where now in the bathroom.

Although the radio costs a bit more, but it's what a lifetime.
Five star deserved it loose.
