Damn good Stimmungsfängerin !!!

The first addendum: I wrote the review a few months ago, it is still true today, although I now an EOS 650D possess the SX260 is a damn good camera and a great Stimmungsfängerin for relatively little money.
However, it was the existence, replaced by a Sony RX-100. Cost far more, an unbeatable, is a dream.

My fourth review, I try somewhat emotionally reproduce what moved and delighted me with regard to this camera.

I can only say the camera is a stunner.

Bin since the SX200IS practicing Canonier, had previously Panasonic Lumix FZ8 and Sony HX5V. Afterwards a SX200IS, until recently a SX230HS.

The SX230HS was and is a wonderful camera which operates at a very high level - here in my opinion, does not come with despite Trixeleien Sony, and Panasonic anyway (my wife had until a few months TZ7, now a Sony HX10V, so I can constantly compare, and realize just how incredibly good the SX230 / is.

And why now the SX260HS? Quite simply: the display is normalformatig, but what I was particularly important: the wide angle with 25mm. I like to take pictures of architecture / old houses / churches, and if I'm just in front, yet the building reinbekomme throughout, then I'm happy and satisfied ....

Hardly anything has on the image quality is changed, the amount of details is anyway incredibly well, itself is image noise at higher ISO values ​​are still acceptable (really looks good, if you do not klaubt pixels), so provides even the automatic good pictures - what today apparently in many cameras is not self-evident.

The most important function is to me, due to the fact that I often take pictures at night, twilight mode (when Sony first discovered). Although the Canon only three pictures are shot in series and made of the three is a fairly low-noise image, the first image is well weighted most, but it works quite well. You capture images at dusk / night really great, at 800, 1600, 3200 and more ISO - the noise you realize little. Just awesome!

By comparison, the Sony HX5V shot 5 images in series, all made noise-free still, but the photos of the Canon are somehow natural ...

Quite nice is the live mode, where you can adjust color temperature, saturation, and brightness, for humans, but is happy to use the manual mode gimmick.

The videos are of high quality, again, I have nothing to complain about.

Gadgetry like a quite high quality thumbnail mode for photo and video and slow motion are quite nice gimmicks, should hardly be buying decision ...

Purely emotional this camera is really the non plus ultra, the images are movingly beautiful, the camera actually takes the mood that the values ​​or the values ​​photographer photographer brought the time of admission to turn on the camera and the shutter to press. Simply unbelievable, just great, just a beautiful dream that became reality.

All who are looking for a really good camera that can capture moods had placed this camera to my heart, I am always enthusiastic and more and more!
