and although I have purchased the Samsung Galaxy S2 9100G a week ago, to this point, I did not know that there are two versions, the i9100 and the 9100G version. Since this was my first S2, I can not compare with the "old" it, but I try as good as possible to share my experience.
When switching on, I noticed that the display was slightly darker, the settings were automatically to brightness, by changing to not automatically could I adjust the brightness to my wishes. It continued with the Internet, wireless password is entered and the connection was there, Wireless and Mobile Internet on my works. My mails set to syncing with the device. I then began my right Must Have Apps, Twitter, WhatsApp, Swiftkey X, Öffi ... to install. So far so good, it was still liquid. Camera made and test shots, also were really good. Used my 32GB SD card and this was immediately recognized and put into operation.
It continues with the Flash Player, freshly updated via Google Play, I am on the internet and have tried a video directly from the browser Opera, which for free in the Google Play Store is watching. The video is black, short little disappointment. I deeinstallierte the update of Adobe Flash Player, and lo and behold, it worked. Happy Again I tested further, I installed the game and others just to the color and the power to look at the phone, and the large beautiful display, even if I play with the mobile use rather less. Much surfing, SMS, phone calls, e-mails that's my thing. Thus passed the first day.
The next day I searched the Internet for accessories, and I found the name Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100G, and 9100. What was now mine? I have but the S2? I landed on Chip.de and let the article "i9100 vs i9100G". Horrified, I looked at my package and found the G, the new version but worse! But I found the G version, not so bad was actually convinced positively by phone. I researched on ... let other reviews positive, and mostly negative. Samsung has no what to say simply times the CPU and GPU to poorer replaced without somehow to announce what or going down pricewise. I actually bought the phone because of the good test / results. But as it turned out, the G version is not the same product and the tests are not conclusive for me thus strengthens. But since I was still convinced of my 9100G because it fulfilled my expectations. I kept the unit over the weekend ... and now I have the device for almost 1 week. Since then I had 2 camera error messages, which could be resolved only by rebooting. Also, the WiFi was 2 times gone by on and off of the Wi-Lans, it ran again.
Even though I am still not satisfied with the cell phone because I paid 400 I would like to also have the power of a 400 cell phones.
I am superior return it and me possibly the HTC One S will buy. I feel deceived by Samsung.
Possibly the above error with an update fixes on Android 4.0, but until the update is coming ...
