Here you can get basically the German LP First Publication on Polydor in digitized form (Teldec / Cube, c.1986). Unfortunately, this means that both the big hit "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Good Captain Clack" are not included. Instead, the album opens with the second single "Homburg" (the only song in stereo). The sound is, as expected, yesterday - enough bass, but somewhat dull. In "Cerdes" it is already borderline. "Kaleidoscope" is strangely not correctly hidden, but ends abruptly after 2 minutes and 52 seconds. Instead of a booklet, there is only a loose leaf, but the cover is quite funny: The "Smile Price" sticker that graced the Teldec-record in the 80s, was simply copied.
Conclusion: For collectors and fans of Procol Harum, the part is anyway interesting, but now also for anyone else who still find a inexpensive specimen. However, those who already have the CD of West Side (1998), may confidently be satisfied with it.
