I have long and short cables that work. The 2 meter cable has on my hard drives (own 4 piece) Toschiba 2.5, 1 TB aluminum silver version, is not working. When connecting burns on the HDD, the operating light, but the drive does not connect to the computer. Even if I connect the 2.5 HDD with this cable to a 3.5 HDD (USB port) on the TV with HDMI, I get this cable not connected to the TV. (What worked with my old shorter and longer cables. The seller wanted to send a replacement cable, unfortunately, there were problems with Versdand.
