CAMERA PLACEMENT:
The supplied sponge makes sense, has with me but not quite enough. So have a simple rinse sponge cut and bruised with pure, and then the camera was stuck relative. Nevertheless, one should make sure well that the lens is placed exactly in the middle, otherwise you have later in the pictures the black tube with strikes .... can sometimes be a bit annoying.
CLOSURE:
The zipper seal very well, and the final velcro prevents rolling. Is a bit annoying that always begins in some Velcro on the water, which you can not easily get away. Have been meticulously respected on getting no grains of sand in the shutter, and it never got water inside. Make sure you get a few packets of silica buy extra fry them and enter into his pocket, then there was for me no problems with fogged insides.
HANDLING:
The bag with the camera floats through the air at the surface, so I simply pulled back with her. But for snorkeling ideal, for real this diver buoyancy could have / be a little too big nuisance.
In my TZ25 shoot the photos was already quite a fumbling: the plastic is very thick and somewhat stiff, so you can push buttons on the camera operate poorly. Fine-tune is thus rather unfavorable; Automatic mode or preset modes are therefore easier to act.
Also I have not seen from the display screen too much, but usually triggered relatively blind, and therefore shot several times each motif.
Unfortunately, you can not use flash with this bag, I would have wished sometimes ....
IMAGE QUALITY:
The first photos noticed that the silver front of my camera has mirrored on the inside of the tube-plate, which the first test pictures (still in the dry) ruined. Have this repaired by I simply forward glued black construction paper with NEM hole in the middle on the lens (something about standing on the sides): since no problems with reflections more.
The image quality of underwater scenes was against it very well, so limited in the center especially by the camera, and not through the bag. At the corners a little chromatic aberration are visible ... think that's just from the window of his pocket.
BOTTOM LINE:
Better as a relatively inexpensive bag (which can also possibly be used for a second camera) than no ... because the original housing are outrageously expensive and 1x in snorkeling really too expensive. For real dives is a genuine case worth possibly but, also because of the buoyancy and the above limitations. Nevertheless, there was great pictures with this camera bag combination!
