If I ever hierbin, I can also find out who I am: archeology student Willie returns to an incident with the wife of her professors, with whom she has an affair, back to her hometown. Pregnant and churned, it presents itself, encouraged by her mother, to which it has an open, yet not untroubled relationship, a challenge: to find out who her father; a man who, contrary to previous assertions, very well is her mother, known.
That's one thing. Willie, all the standing before the conclusion archaeologist, now immersed in their family history that goes back to the days of the natives, as a European ancestor founded her hometown. Throughout the book all kinds of relatives and their contemporaries have their say, their interconnections, the possibilities of who could be Willie's father multiply. Willie and the reader may therefore cheerfully puzzles and combine! At the same time renewed Willie their acquaintances and friendships from childhood - when it comes to love with unpredictable consequences - and she gets help from her best friend, whose serious illness gives her an opportunity for old documents to sift through letters, chronicles, which are beautifully written in the tone of their time of origin. And then there is still the ancient monster in Lake Glimmerglass, his death coincides with Willie's return, and the place whose residents have grown fond of it in generations, initially leaving sad and helpless. This book is the story of a small American town in which happen the most peculiar wonder and beyond the fascinating biography of a young woman, whose ancestors have come full auspicious plans for America, and even insecure about their future and is anxious until your little mysterious hometown and its people fully rediscovered.
