Petry thank: At last, the German pop rock again!

Almost 6 years, we had a new Achim Petry Album wait ... and now I can say that the wait was more than worth it.
After Achim was nominated in 2007 practically the official Petry successor, came in the same year the album "... just as I" on the market. At that time, was still the typical Petry sound to hear and had personally bothered me a little, because Achim had better do his own (musical) thing and that he has with his brand new album "My Way" Thank God done.

I find it difficult to name the absolute highlights, as each song in its own way is great. Therefore, I describe each title short and crisp:

01 Your love is amazing: 10/10
First single and direct a direct hit: catchy chorus with danger and a world-class rock sound.

02 Rosalie: 10/10
In my opinion, Perfect for the second single released: Amusing text, rousing melody and transparent chorus!

03 winners: 10/10
The men anthem par excellence! Register here, the tough facts about the male sex an`s daylight and therefore there is in the song and so a lot to smile about.

04 Aufsteh`n: 10/10
This song has been totally put me at auditions: For me already a little summer song that simply invites you to enjoy live.

05 Slimer: 08/10
As the name suggests, it's about the people who like to crawl into the other Popo and would like to spend a good and innocent. Cool song but I lack that certain something ...

06 Like the first time: 05/10
That's the only song that I can not begin much. The text so far do not like it so much and I also do not know what the song should express exactly. For the musical interpretation is terrific again.

07 So that's life: 10/10
If the first track on the album, the Achim personally texted and composed. Mission accomplished: Earwig & a great text!

08 Give me one night: 10/10
Now comes the first song where it's going musically correct: There is rocked like crazy and everything is just right!

09 Only three words: 10/10
Another highlight for me: In the title I got the first little goose bumps, because the text is on the one hand provide a bit naughty, on the other hand also very touching. Madness!

10 All this I do: 10/10
Strictly speaking, a very socially critical song: Why should I do all that, what makes the majority? Geiler text, rocking melody - I stand it!

11 pull the head out of the sand: 10/10
My personal "Courage mach" song. The message: Never give up, always look ahead! Just great!

12 I'm coming home: 08/10
Last but not least the only ballad on this album (also composed by Achim and texted) No question, the title has a great text and a beautiful melody that just fits. However, this little feeling in his voice I miss.

Conclusion: With this album Achim has finally embarked on his own path, and I very much hope that he will continue to go down this path - whether with or without the help of Wolfgang.

PS: Almost all songs were composed by Wolfgang Petry and texted and he produced the CD completely!
