During this time I had enough runs to now to submit a review:
In short, I am blown away.
It is a very multi-faceted album that covers many different topics.
The beats are extremely well produced. Sido raps generally rather quiet and reverent, which reinforces my opinion, the message in the lines.
The lyrics are very deep. It is not enough to let the album run "on the side" in order to understand everything. You have to listen consciously to realize the whole messages. Not infrequently I have only after repeated listening of a song understood the entire message, and I'm sure there are still many undiscovered me allusions that are properly aware only in the course of time.
A pity, I find that relatively few songs are on the album, 14 of them. Since it already "One of these stones" and "30-11-80" was heard at a known video platform in advance, there are thus effectively only 12 new songs. However, these are also all pure songs, not into, no Skit or the like. So we have 14 quality songs, which I previously must skipping any. That's my honest rather than an album with 20 tracks, 4 of Skits, 1 intro, outro 1 and 5 songs that you have to skip.
Among the features:
The features I find really chosen class. Mark Forster sings really beautifully and fits great into the tracks. If Helge Schneider I was skeptical in advance. What does Sido with as a "clown"? In retrospect, I like the song "work" with him, however, very good. It fits just as the two blend and I think he could have no better pull ashore for the song. Whoever listens to the song, will remember what I mean. The feature with Genetikk in my opinion with the best (could also be because I Genetikk absolutely celebration), Marsimoto fits wonderfully so.
The only feature what bothers me slightly, that is Westernhagen Marius Müller. Somehow I'm not quite so warm. This is but complain at a high level and damages the whole not. The last track 30-11-80's a pure feature fireworks. Some class chosen, like other less well to me. But in spite of everything an extremely feierbarer track.
As auditions I recommend
1. One of these stones
2. Love
3. Masquerade
In the track "Love" I fell in love at first listen :)
Conclusion:
In my eyes was a terrific year in 2013, what / As for German hip-hop rap. We have had an incredible number of good releases. Sido is the hip-hop year here with his album nor the crown.
I can thus pronounce a uneingeschrenkte buy recommendation!
