++ Suction function: I find a great innovation, it will come as other reviewers described pretty good! The often-mentioned extraction rate of about 80% of hair may well be a good approximation. Although not all hairs are collected one feels the effect but very pleasant, cleaning the sink faster and the beard cutting more fun by more technology :) Caution: if the appliance is not turned off by knife downward tilt as can drop the Einsaugschlitz hair from the chamber. Small disadvantage is that you can not quite ran comes when cutting to the nose, see below. Could certainly improve a bit, but two plus for the innovative idea!
+ Battery: expected to be well above the average holding long. If it seems not interchangeable.

+ Display: the set time length, battery level, and possibly active travel lock on.

0 Volume: Some of the volume level of the beard trimmer is criticized. I bought the Philips anyway and have to say, the noise really did not feel as bad. Sure, there are professional devices from the hairdresser that are built especially quiet. But even if you cut close to the ear is the volume not disturbing at all. 0 nose: was criticized also here that the cutting is impaired under the nose by the suction device. Well, it's true that you can not comfortably rankommt the nostrils. 0 Accessories: It comes with a travel bag (cloth), a second essay, a small brush and a simple charging cable. Sufficient.
0 Travel lock: Good idea, but also thought-out? Activates and deactivates the travel lock is respectively by 3-second press on the power button. I'd the trimmer from Philips only buy again when the flap is constructed much more stable (and possibly also be the possibility of a battery exchange would). In its current form, not a sustainable product that just can not even survive the warranty period without prejudice. However, I am speaking here of non-essential parts, without the continued operation of the cutter is therefore still guaranteed. Otherwise, I can recommend it without restriction, especially if the sink then again to be quickly clean :)
ADDENDUM 2: after 1.5 years of use: The trimmer still runs great, the battery capacity not subjectively noticed waste (cutting my beard 2-3 times a week)! Have now a second bought as a Christmas present for my brother. The unique vacuum function was victorious in their purchasing decision on the lack of the flap.
