Otherwise, there is a solid and easy to use alarm clock. The housing is made entirely of plastic, but feels good in the hand and does not look cheap. The black casing is matt but shining - but not Glavierlackoptik or less Tactile like this (very good).
At the height of "2" is an LED, with the dial of a pressure on the "Snooze" button can be illuminated on the top of the alarm clock. Even without LED lighting can be in the dark the dial, the completely green fluorescent (and the big hand), read well. It does not light too bright for my Emfpinden.
On the back of the clock there is next to the battery compartment and the time setting it contains still a (massive) switch for activating and deactivating the alarm. The pity is that its status (on / off) is not visualized in any way on the dial. If you want to know if the alarm is on, you have to feel for this.
The setting of the alarm via the scroll wheel on the side of the alarm clock. Important to know is possible that only a 12-hour alarm can be set. The alarm can be set relatively accurately (+/- 10 minutes).
The alarm sound is consistently loud and increases in the frequency. In other words, the alarm goes off once, then several times and rising to a continuous ringing. Via the "Snooze" button to the alarm about 10 minutes silence before the alarm sounds back again.
A battery (AA) is included!
Overall a very good alarm clock with little weaknesses. Ideal it would be if the alarm condition would be visualized and the device would have a radio clock. However, no manufacturer offers as an alarm clock to - therefore there is from me for this alarm 5 stars because it is after a long search of the ideal compromise for me. One can just not have anything :-)
