I once bought a Miele Bags - and stay here since then! The bag already feels much higher quality. The material is really "well defined", while at Swirl it has something "papieriges".
Inside the bag are Miele slats. These strips absorbed that the Staum inside is evenly distributed and the suction force hardly decreases, even if the bag is practically full. In the table of Stiftung Warentest both bags were once practically the same. However, it came to me when bags from Swirl often that the cleaner had significantly less power but still had plenty of room in the bag.
Better I also find the automatic bag sealing at Miele. With Swirl a closure from the side over the bag-hole pushes. However, you always had to help out with your fingers. At Miele, a flap automatically folds upwards and closes the hole. No help out. (But one hundred percent seind close both closures not. When the full bag vigorously suppressed ... rather not do!)
About the performance of particulate matter Stiftung Warentest says that both bags were great. I myself can not judge that and let the simple times are so.
Conclusion:
Both, Swirl and Miele, are very good bag. Motor filter, automatic bag sealing and suction power at full bag are the arguments to remain in the future at Miele for me.
