I use the UCA222 to my electric guitar to use with software like AmpliTube, but during the latency was excellent, the input level was much too low. With this nice (and especially cheap!) Thing but you get all the levels you need. For me personally, it was surprising that no power cord was there, but actually is already in the product description: "Runs on 9 V battery or the BEHRINGER PSU-SB DC power supply (not included)"
