The "Brick Bounty" is almost 50 cm long and almost as high, so has an impressive size. Two poles with large red and white striped sails including menacing skull imprint, an additional skull flag, three shot enabled cannons and four grim crew (captain, Roughneck with eye patch, cabin boy and cook) leave no doubt that you look for this ship better keeps. The three blue skirts also contained (Admiral, sergeants and soldiers) but appear to be particularly brave, because although they are outnumbered and only have a small rowing boat included shooters, they want the pirate ship hijack all seriousness - well if that is gonna work ...
A notable example I find the detailed Captain's cabin at the stern of the ship, which has among other things a number of openable windows and a secret hiding place in the ground and is also equipped with a treasure map, a sextant and a bottle. To further "occupation" or features of the set include a shark, a rat, a skeleton (at the bow of the ship), various weapons such as swords and guns to both sides, one filled with jewels Treasure Chest, a bottle, a saucepan and a number of other Small parts. The ship itself also has a working anchor chain, the typical big wheel, a lookout at the top of the front mast and two small platforms respectively at half mast height. On deck, meanwhile, did not find so many details, but you have probably somewhere yet his place to fight.
Finally, a tip for those who would like to increase rapidly and extensively their pirate and Blaurock teams without having to buy for each of the smaller sets: The aforementioned Pirate chess (RRP 55 EUR) includes the same 20 minifigures (10 Pirates and 10 soldiers), including weapons and other equipment objects and thus represents probably the best option, comparatively inexpensive to get figures on a large amount. In addition, the report includes 2 blue, 2 sand-colored and white 16x16 4-plates, which can be used for good. B. as a game pad for battles between pirates and blue skirts on the beach.
Conclusion:
-------
In my view, the "Great Pirate Ship" that set, on the carpet Pirates probably can least do without if you are interested in LEGOs new "Pirates" series. Would not only because there are so far not to buy another ship and real pirate adventures without a ship missing something important, but also because the "Brick Bounty" is in my opinion simply very well done and offers a lot of variety - so a super basis for many hours of play full of yarn. 7 figures I find though a little bit (at a recommended retail price of 100 euros would have to be already 9 figures) and two additional guns for it already provided parking spaces on deck would not hurt, but for me these are already the biggest criticisms this otherwise commendable set. Oh, I missed personally also a captain matching parrot ... The assembly will take the way between a half and 2 hours, depending on the age of the builder. All in all I can give full 5 stars this set definitely.
