Customer Review

Musicians there are a dime a dozen, because it is especially difficult as newcomers right to gain a foothold in the large and wide music business. However, very little problems with it is likely to have Jason Desrouleaux or easier said Jason Derulo. The up and coming artists from Miami, Florida is namely a real all-rounder, because besides singing Jason already has experience in acting range and was even responsible for the songwriting of some stars. None other than Star Producer JR Rotem became aware of the young man and immediately signte him to his label Beluga Heights. As Beluga Heights then was still part of the Warner Music Group, the foundations for a successful start of the 20-year-old were found for a first-class producer and a major label in the luggage is probably hardly go wrong. Now Jason Derulos' Self Titled Debut work is finished, on which he wants to put us in the form of 10 songs with a total playing time of 34 minutes good his skills. The entire album was produced by JR Rotem and real features Jason has completely waived. But now I would no longer suspense, but it goes straight into the pure drive.

The opener is the brilliant first single "Whatcha Say", which in the US and other parts of Europe powerful Airplay gets for many many weeks, but only recently really well with us receives recognition in Germany. A very serious and thoughtful song from the text hergesehen and also the instrumental, which contains a sample from "Hide & Seek" from Imogean Heap, excited in full measure. The chorus is a really nice catchy tune that is sung by the way of a beautiful female voice. The next step makes it fresh "Ridin Solo", which still has many of Synthes, a few playful melodies and a powerful beat, which offers during the verses with bass beats and Snaps and entfalltet properly its power only in the choruses. Jason Derulo attracts us with his enthralling voice immediately under the spell of this track. The 2nd single also falls here not far, but comes with "In My Head" is noisy. A class drumbeat, whose electric guitars accompaniment sets rock accents, hear the focus devoted here and in the chorus leaves Mr. Derulo then just an exhilarating fireworks burn, which has no equal. On the next track called "The sky's the limit" Party People should have their delight, because it is equipped with a slightly faster beat, incredibly atmospheric melodies and how could it be otherwise Synthes. The whole song is so more in the direction of Euro Dance / Electro Pop and offers a perfect variety. Almost towards a ballad is the smooth track "What If" with a rich and slow drumbeat, which is magnificently set of a prestigious piano melody and some strings in scene. Seen vocally provides Mr. Derulo again an idea first cream off, again illustrating his vast talent fit. Another number comes groovy "Love Hangover" dahergebrettert with slight rock accents and a few electronic elements which zusammenschnürrt become a super package that you just love leads to the heart. The next track "Encore" now follows my favorite song of the longplayer. Initially draws us a thoughtful, also sad-looking piano melody in his spell before then a massive beat begins marching with and slowly but surely we the peak can climb this stroke of genius - the chorus with a storm of Synthes and a Jason Derulo of his voice beyond its borders brings, packed with a lot of emotions. It continues with "Fallen" that hergesehen of its basic structure so a bit of Rihanna's "Hate That I Love You" is reminiscent, with a smoothen and yet groovy beat and a magical guitar accompaniment, its uniqueness probably only through Jason's flawless appearance on the mic is dwarfed. Upsetting and travel with you, it goes to the excellent ballad "blind" to the point that Jason excellently completed from start to finish. The bombastic conclusion of this debut album, we get burned in our hearing in the form of the song "Strobelight". The Good brings here again our blood boil powerful and animate a just so downright to dance, what is due to the fast beat and the many electronic melody elements mainly.

I hardly know what to say to a final conclusion, because what Jason Derulo is delivers here with his debut album as from another planet! The only 10 songs and not just playing time are not a big minus, because as the saying goes, quality rather than quantity. Every song from this album is just as ground to be a hit and underpins the class this varied longplayer again. Please as soon as possible more of Mr. Derulo !!!
