Now the HDD:
- I have taken her only to the PC and then the WD tool's Firmware Upgrade angeworfen result =: HDD is up to date.
Then incorporated into the Zyxel NAS, detected and initialized operating system.
Reading out the SMART values showed that was still within the first three hours of the LCC (Load Cycle Count) at "1", with the adventurous values (several hundred in a few hours) of previous series is well evident with the latest firmware Final ,
Volume:
=========
The drive is very very quiet, no noise audible but many and lengthy writes now and then a faint "Rödeln".
Temperature:
==========
In idle 28 degrees Celsius, with violent load the plate is in the NAS high on good 31 degrees Celsius and remains at this value.
Conclusion:
=====
The WD RED is a good hard drive to run the 24/7 operation (or similar) for NAS systems and it works perfectly in my QNAP 212P and the Zyxel 325v2 NAS.
This prepares the firmware of the NAS's problems with this type of hard disk, I can not confirm so.
