From the perspective of a Metal Gear fans of the first hour - a dyed in the wool Metal Gear !!

For me, the question arises: How much Metal Gear is in this game? How does it feel to be a Metal Gear Solid 1 - fan from the start in this game canceled?

Granted, I'm usually not a fan of hack and slash - games like Devil May Cry or God of War. That's why I was Metal Gear Rising Revengeance very skeptical.

I had to almost trick yourself to tackle this game at all myself with the slogan "I am interested in the Metal Gear universe" or with an interest in the history of Metal Gear universe. Glad I did it, no even very good! :-)

So I went to the game and have initially played prejudiced way. All the Samurai Combat things have only slightly impressed me. Meanwhile, and after a lot of practice, I have to say: It gives me the meantime ultra fun! Since the combat system has in and of itself is not much to do with a typical "Metal Gear", I leave it in this short commentary and come to the things that brought my heart to jump: The Metal Gear features of the game, things that distinguish Hideo Kojima and Metal Gear:

1. The endlessly existing and long dialogues that for every Metal Gear - should be entertaining fan!

2. Charismatic characters and enemies!

3. Small Metal Gear details like the Ausrufeton when you discover opponents or your phone's ringtone (Metal Gear fans know exactly what tone I mean)

4. The dialogue during a telephone conversation with the team! Especially if you need advice against certain bosses! Or just want to hear NEN stupid comment from a colleague who (Raiden) envy you!

5. The selection menu with items!

6. Order funny details in the game!

7. Metal Gear typical surprises and twists in history

8. Many complex issues that can not be seen through with blunt by playing, but open when you either super quiet and concerns all dialogs brings with him, or by playing several times.

9. Grandiose boss fights with Metal Gear typical degree of challenge and MG-typical dialogues before, during and after the Fight!

10. As a cherry on the cream: ON GRAY FOX SKIN with NEM GRAY FOX SWORD - SKIN, one can sit up! The original Gray Fox from Metal Gear Solid 1 here quasi playable! Just great for me!

As a conclusion for all Metal Gear fans I can only say, pure skin! It's worth all the times! And let you kindly on the history and the details of a! Kojima has more Metal Gear hidden, as one suspects the time being!

For me personally, I've found: Metal Gear excelled never alone by stealth action from. There have always been different, much more essential details. Proved gave me this Kojima with this magnificent game! A Perfect New Design of Metal Gear and still a dyed in the wool Metal Gear! Good work Kojima
