An atypical Carpenter movie

Finally a film of Carpenter, I thought. He has made so many great movies in the 80s.
Last seen the first few minutes of "The Thing from Another World" and was completely blown away by the atmosphere, which produces the typical Carpenter music. We have been coming for the first difference: In "The Ward" lacks the typical Carpenter music! A great pity.

Irritating the occupants are at the clinic. Most photo-model with shaved legs. Is not that a slap?
Otherwise, the film is also unconvincing. Is this a horror film now? Why is the 18?

But the worst comes to the end of the film, when the resolution is made. For me, the last race before the brilliant film "identity" (ie = UTF8 & qid = 1431164024 & sr = 1-1 & keywords = identit% C3% 4t) has looked, it was a huge disappointment. The highlight of the film was simply stolen! That I can not forgive, alas! Who does not know "identity" is "The Ward" certainly higher rate (3 or 4 stars).

But who does not know both films, should advance look clear "identity", the original. The really outstanding good and much better than "The Ward".
