Ordered Sunday and delivered on Wednesday thank you Amazon! For less than 100 my DELL E520 configuration under W7 took a real facelift with perfs multiplied by 10. Pending delivery I have had time to prepare the ground by taking the online Samsung tools (they are also on CD in the package): - Data Migration (perfect for cloning); - Samsung Magician for boosterencore perfs with RAPID mode. If you have a desktop do not believe the counselors with a USB interface, it is useless. I just purchased with LogiLink AD0013 tool 5 that contains everything you need (Adapter 3 "5-2" 5, SATA cable and screws). So I could easily mount the SSD on the adapter and connect the SATA cable into your desktop. For a little technical, I kept my original HD and setup RAID BIOS origin (undoubtedly it is compatible AHCI !!). I therefore needed only to validate the SATA connector in the BIOS (turned ON) and that's it! Then everything happens on the screen. W7 recognizes the SSDs and loads the right driver. I launched Data Migration to clone the SSD (for my part I had already cut my HD to 75 GB and it took me 20 minutes). Then, as he invites us to do, we must restart the PC by changing the launch command to set the SSD before HD and that's it! W7 is launched from the SSD and it's a pleasure to speed! I then launched Samsung Magician with all the necessary advice (OS optimization, PO Relief and score well on the RAPID mode). Perfs are waiting for you with half figures below the max perfs (normal I am therefore in SATA II 3GB / s instead of 6GB / s SATA III). The most fun is the comparison with the HD (which makes Magician): the ratio is over 10 !! No hesitation to 5 stars. This little box under 100g gives you a smile!
