After numerous presentation videos on the video platforms my curiosity on the T20T was eventually so great that I just ordered.

First problem: I order the T10T that runs on one AA battery and in the weaker modes has the better values, or I reach for something shorter T20T, the (or each alternative battery) runs with the more expensive CR123 batteries in the lower modes off worse ("Firefly" and Mid), but in "High" mode ejects 255 lumens front ???
What can I say ?! At the end won power before reason ... Ordered!
Already on the second day I had the small lamp in hands. Delivered in a pretty "tin can" (tin), which can be used for fishing or Fire set, can be found in the interior next to the usual paperwork and a packet of silica gel to moisture, pretty laid the lamp and the diffuser in foam. Some practical tests have proof of that already!
Small gripe: unlike other manufacturers supplying with NO ThruNite first battery. Too Bad.
When for the first time released the 20 from its case, it is noticeable that they are very, very smooth and "soft". No "tactical" appearance, not milled structure, no depressions. A real small Handschmeichlerin who then promptly had almost slipped out of my hand when I was careless. Do you have to get used to ...

The first test was to direct that the mode selector requires about tapping the "forward clicky" at the end of the lamp a little practice and feeling. In the first hour I have repeatedly turned off the lamp when I only wanted to continue click a mode. But quickly you get used to it.
Here the lamp is one of its great strengths: there are three different ways to click through the modes!
1. gently tapping the rear on / off switch (the way of metal!)
2. Lamp is off and on again within two seconds
3. easy getting on and again spinnig the bezel
Here, it should be mentioned that the lamp has a memory function. If you switch off and after three seconds not set you back a, then it will start the next time it right in the last selected mode and not in the brightest or darkest. OK then!
First impression of light:
Firefly (0.4 lumens): to see by day is hardly enough it yet perfectly at night to find something in your backpack or to meet the keyhole. In "candle" mode with diffuser really great, because the lamp "stand tail", their structure is capable, so can be put upright.
"Mid" (11 lumens): enough for almost everything that needs to be done in house and basement in the dark so. Lights the way on the stairs, lighted dark corners, the "candle" mode almost sufficient for small and medium rooms. For's tent while camping all!
"High" (255 lumens): what can I say ?! Man grins when first turned on, because you can hardly believe that such a small lamp, this amount can be ejected to light. Tip! Especially with diffuser. Here I speak not aware of "candle" because the thing then gives already a veritable torch and shines so bright that one almost do in complete darkness the eyes hurt.
The range I have not tested it in the great outdoors, evening "down the road" but I came easily to about 80m range despite streetlights. A great result for such a dwarf!
Other benefits include
- The "ultra clear" lens
- The "orange peel" reflector for a nice spread (with nevertheless prima defined spot)
- Tool for clip-mounting enclosed
- Another eye / recess at the rear end allows the attachment of a cord, a lanyard or a key ring. This allows for example the suspension inside a tent, which gives a wonderful way of interior lighting in conjunction with the diffuser!
- Titan! Titan! Titan!
Finally, short for Material ... Some may wonder why you should buy the version now in titanium, if you can get aluminum or steel but much cheaper.
For once there is the slightly lower weight, but this added not really be decisive in a lamp in this format.
Furthermore, the robustness of course that can compete with the heavier steel and the aluminum is probably slightly better than what probably is not critical during intended use such a small lamp.
Thirdly, there would be the possibility of subsequent colored anodization of the lamp, and the titanium body, a factor that almost makes me alone all the difference!
Finalmente there's the fact that titanium easily my favorite material with various "toys" in the EDC rotation (everyday objects - everyday carry) is ... Love it !!!
My conclusion: great light, attractive price, terrific stuff!
