Adept for a long time electrical shaving, I successively tried different technologies over the years and it is with Braun shavers that I found the best compromise between a sufficiently efficient shave, good handling and good comfort on the skin. So far, electric shaving rhymed for me with shave on dry skin. Although irritation was less after the event compared to manual shaving, you can not say that such a shaving can be truly described as comfortable. With this model it, I discovered the possibilities of "wet and dry", ie: combining electric shaving with a preparation of the skin similar to that preceding the manual shave (cream or foam) or even downright enabled to shave in the shower. This greater flexibility proves especially useful to increase shaving comfort. If the gain in terms of final cutting efficiency may not be very significant with skin so prepared, it is undeniable that allows to arrive more quickly at the same result and especially with a real sweetness. On dry skin, this model is still one of the softest I know, without demerit provided on precision shaving. I enjoyed its excellent autonomy, which easily exceeds the week without the need to recharge the battery, or a little more than what is specified in the instructions.
