In the container is filled with the supplied measuring cup, a water, to this are added a few drops of aroma oil. Cover to switch on - the unit starts with occasional gentle bubbling lights up in different colors, and after a few seconds you will see a small steam column above the device. After a few minutes an evaporation will be paused, and shortly afterwards it goes on.
According to the manual, you can set different modes - though this is not me reproducible succeeded. Still a nice gadget, which allows you to bring a little light into the home atmosphere and can scenting the room.
