1) Why has only two HDMI inputs, the system? Why not 3 or 4?
2.) CEC works well (ie, the TV turns on when one turns the system or vice versa: The system turns off when the TV is turned off) HDMI ARC works with my Philips TV only if EasyLink on. TV far off in the settings and is turned on again. So I did not come around for another TOSLINK cable.
3.) The supplied remote control does have a dedicated button for activating this channel TOSLINK (Optical), but the other inputs (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AUX, Radio, Bluetooth) have only one button, with which the user must turn by turn to. When Bluetooth then hook always commemorative 2 seconds, the very disturbing. If you want to switch from HDMI1 to HDMI2, then go with the push of a button. If you want to HDMI1 HDMI2, then you have until OPTICAL, then AUX, then RADIO, then (wait 2-3 seconds) for Bluetooth and then to HDMI1. That would have been solved with dedicated buttons 1000x better, especially since there are only two HDMI inputs.
4) These inputs are media sources. Miracast or access to USB flash drive, hard drive or local network are actually sources. To me it is a mystery why the need to be hidden at another location in the menu.
5.) The software does not comply with certain design standards today. Broken Similarly, namely the menu of their own apps and preloaded apps. Pre-installed apps like no, even if the Springer Verlag or max cathedrals sure what jump. Something you want to uninstall these days, but that does not bring the software. New software, meanwhile, can only be installed if one applies a LG account. Common but unnecessary.
6.) This then leads to the documentary. The fact is very bad. Although you can download a PDF of the web page, but that describes things that actually are a clear and does not go there in the depths, where you might need it. (CEC only as a receiver? I do not want the TV turns on when I want to listen to the radio. Can the standby signal be given to devices to HDMI 1 and HDMI 2? Etc ...)
7) There are a few presets to adjust the sound. Because actually should be there for everyone. A manual EQ 4 bands is attending. But unfortunately only one. Of course I want a mode in which the bass cabinet is almost entirely composed and a mode very highlighted in the bass and treble are. For both, there are presets, but not entirely satisfactory. The USER EQ alter every time is too much effort.
Most of the presets turn the way from the rear speakers or the center. Also a kind of preset ...
8.) The diaphragm of the subwoofer (like all other membranes) are completely unprotected. It may be that this has something to do with a good sound, but if a child in the household is, then it will rumfingern also in the membrane. Or if something falls over what, then the membrane is gone. Or if someone purely occurs at a party there. Why can one pretend no mesh? I have bought from the local Hagebaumarkt a network that lets you protect the bark of trees. That will do the trick and also looks not bad.
9) This plant has 5 speakers + subwoofer. 4 of speakers have an upward speakers. These are then 9 speakers + subwoofer. Whether one should call this then 9.1, I doubt it. It is a 5.1 system where 4 speakers are supposed to create a 9.1 system upward boxes and a sly algorithm. Anyone who believes that one then from the direction between the front left and rear left what hears, thinks wrong. Especially since the algorithm has no idea about the architecture. For me it is therefore a 5.1 system.
These 9 points are fundamental differences of opinion between me and the manufacturer of home theater system. One can also feel differently and argue that it is only a personal opinion. I am still very satisfied with the system, because the sound is so good. Even with a handsome volume you can still chat in low volume, which is a sign for the balance of the spectrum. Miracast works fantastic performant from the Nexus 4. Bluetooth controls often times reduce the quality. The computer via HDMI 5.1 delivers what insanely contributing in computer games to experience.
I would buy the system again. Because in the first place it should sound good and it does. Crashes, like other reviewers, I had not been. I have connected the system to a cable network and not via WiFi.
