I have now taken the lens in the summer and approximately 450 images shot with it. Before I had even checked the back and front focus and compared it with the results of my previous lens. I had previously always been satisfied with the sharpness, but the new 17-50 mm lens placed the objects are even better. I could therefore neither festellen a baking a front focus. The light and the colors seem staggering to stand out more clearly. Both lenses I tested on a Canon 1000D camera for the rest. Of the holiday 98% have also become keen on straight away. There were only a few outliers. In conjunction with a polarizing filter whopping sky colors have emerged that I had not been reached previously with my conventional lens, although I there also used a similar polarizing filter from the same manufacturer Hoya. The maximum aperture of f / 2.8 confident throughout. Many recordings have their picture taken at night or in rooms without flash now. I'm curious to see how the light intensity also affects the starry sky, since I use my camera for astro-photography.
The lens itself is an excellent workmanship, but when push a little hard-course, as my old one. This can cope, however, and will perhaps even improve with frequent use yet. The lens cap and the visor are also fine. You are just plastic, but fit perfectly. All in all, I can therefore only awarded 5 stars and look forward to more pictures.
