Indeed, the story between Phury and Cormia not transported me, like, the Z and Bella. The history between these two takes too long. There are too indecision at Phury. And the story does not advance too much between these two, which results in a lack of sensuality between the two, apart from a bit towards the end.
What I liked most about this book are the stories related vhen, Xhex, and especially John Lively and Blay. I must say that I am not a big fan of gay stories which, I think, is because the authors happen only very rarely make the romantic feminine eyes, but Ward was able to break my soul of the existing love between Vif and Blay. I must say that I expect only one thing to read a tome recounting their history. It would be a very good read in my opinion even if a little out of place. The passionate story of John and Xhex come also.
Most surprising is obviously (warning for those who have not read) the transition to the other clan Fhléau. I never imagined something in taste is there. Twists, most interesting are coming, because I think the fight with the lessers began to falter face their lack of resources. There as new blood to come in the next few pages.
Ward so we again proved his talent. My only regret is the time between publication while the English volumes are already out. This is either a marketing decision or a desire to avoid the first volume of translation error.
