I was looking for a product to send images from a simple tablet (Acer iconia one) to a projector with an HDMI port. This key is a very good solution to this problem (and to a TV with HDMI port it works too). Installation is fairly quick and intuitive (fortunately because the manual is archi summary): once the key connected, you should download the EZcast application (it was already done through the Play Store) and then launch the search Wifi key from the application (and for that disconnect any other Wifi connection time recognition because it is possible to reconnect to access the Internet once recognized and configured key). On the screen will appear the menu with the name of the key and WPA code that must be entered as to configure access to a router, a box, etc. The recognition is done well. Warning to choosing the right version of EZcast the Play Store (I also installed the "pro" version that does not recognize the device, as well as the "EZcast screen"). Then you can access the setup menu on the screen and the tablet displays the menu. One caveat: the configuration of the mirror applying; it has not worked for my tablet but they warn that this does not always work, unfortunately. The manipulation is complicated and fails quite easily (you must disconnect and reconnect the key Wifi indicating a PIN and reconnect Wifi ...) or never succeeds. Too bad because it seems still very useful. Another concern: the document reading service works with Microsoft documents. If like me you work on Ooo it will convert your documents for playback on EZcast, which is not too serious as manipulation because it is possible for Open Office. Tested with a PPT presentation to MP4 video and it works wonderfully. The Wifi signal is good (I do not distance myself much either). The key reasonably heater 1-2 hours. As a precaution, as suggested Warning again: if you have not an available USB port (this is the case on a projector) consider buying a USB-AC adapter 5V (and 500mA) that is not included in the box; the micro-USB cable is meanwhile provided. I use a Samsung-type phone charger and it works perfectly. For the service life, will be seen to use. I'll come and report any malfunction.
