I recently watched the movie "Plastic Planet". Then I realized that I wanted to get rid of this plastic kettle Siemens "Made in China" as soon as possible. Finally Looking for a viable alternative, I found the kettle of the brand "Ottoni Fabbrica", which exclusively (heater and stainless steel, for example, Germany) are manufactured in Italy by specifying the manufacturer Metalgo Srl with components from European origin.
The entire interior of the kettle is made of stainless steel (according to information from the manufacturer If it is the steel grade 1.4301). But I like to do without an externally visible water level indicator - even so far I have rather used for measuring an ordinary measuring cup.
The design I think is very well done - the product picture promises not here too much. How it looks with the durability, is yet to be seen.
Criticisms:
- The power cord is not bent
- The water filter is supplied only on request in a stainless steel version. The manufacturer should reconsider its product policy.
- Only the normal legal guarantee (comparable to Germany in Italy) applies to the product. If a manufacturer has confidence in the quality of its product, then I would expect that he is also a manufacturer guarantee. Therefore, I forgive even four stars.
