I have the Onyx Studio directly compared with the Go Play and have come to the following conclusion at Onyx:

+ Compact and easy to transport
+ Built-in battery
+ Coupled quickly and easily with all appliances
+ Visually appealing
+ Clean ups
- Unbalanced sound
- Bass sounds like a Pringles can (compared to the Go Play - and which is not the measure of all things)
- Low-pitched sounds are ok, kick bass do not go
- From 70 the maximum volume it is then quite there with sound quality, since he farts only
- Outdated Bluetooth standard does not provide optimal transmission quality
- No battery level indicator

I am glad not to have invested. Had I bought the Onyx Black I was really angry - because the sound is there equal. They differ only by the connectivity yes, not by the speaker components.
