Customer Review

Before I bought the CD, I thought, well, it can be determined just a few songs to be good. But error, the CD has completely exceeded my expectations.
Above all, the genre I find impressive, because it's a mix that you do not hear every day and, of delimiting the uniformity can be heard on the radio. It is something between folk, country, jazz, blues and alternative.
Harms has shown that he is a very good songwriter and clueless of his profession and even in German. The songs are very thoughtful, profound and stimulate very think and I have none of what I want to click away.

My Favorites:
The first publication of "After us the deluge" is dominant drums and has a very catchy guitar riff.

(After us the storm
After us the deluge, damn
Self-love eats the devil in distress
After us the storm
After us the fire, damn
We dance and we fall into the dawn
We dance and we wait for death)

In the second song 'When Love Monster' dominate again drums and guitar. But here also the piano is in the background well of detection.

(When love Monster
Your instincts are obedient
When love Monster
Then, from a human child lies
How do you)

In song 'Rosenbluth' is the drums again an important part of the guitar on the other hand is used sparingly, but only until the Solo's turn. In the background is sometimes also the synthesizer sound.

(I have sworn loyalty
But then I've lost my heart
Longing rarely does well
Say, why do we drown in Rosenbluth)

The eighth song 'My Body', which was recorded with the Schulz (fornication), sounds different from the others, because there is a second voice in the game. A mixture of a dark and a lighter voice complemented very well. In the song there is again a catchy riff and many allusions to the Bible.

(Yes, this is my body and this is my life
And just for you, yes just for you
I will lose my blood for you
Glorify the guilt of the world
In flames I wash you clean
My body will be your sin
Yes, just for you)

The song 'In the Night' begins with sparse synth sounds and a muffled drum, which runs through the whole song. The whole song is rather very emotional and very little has been done on the instruments.

(When the sun goes blutrot
Sand and dust rises in the sky
Daylight the star sounds differs
We shall find peace, free and easy
At night)

The song 'In war and love' begins with a guitar riff, but after working a lot with the piano, above all in the verses. The ends as it began, with a guitar riff.

(It's only a matter of time
Finally, everyone is willing to kill
You'll do it, even if you do not believe it
In war and love everything is permitted)

In the song 'From love to the grave', there is only a piano, worked with but sparingly. This is about a man who lost his little child, which goes to a place where you can not follow. The song is very emotional and it shows in the voice, which is very fragile.

(And with blood on my hands
I feel life still in thee
Pulled up big in my loins
Now I sing you a lullaby
From love to the grave
From the very, very large fortune
I'll carry to the grave
Much further and back
From the cradle to the grave
From just one day with you
From the night that I am daily
Over the years in supporting me)

The Ship of Fools, a song by Reinhard Mey Gecovertes and sounds a bit like Sailor music. Is accompanied by the song Comte Caspar (Coppelius) playing on the clarinet. Apart from the clarinet can be heard out only the drums, the guitar is very quiet to hear in the background. Between the verses, it sounds as if there were an accordion.

I would recommend the CD only every highly recommend, even those who are skeptical. It is worth it.
