Now I come to the reason why meinenes opinion of headphones has only 4 earned of 5 stars.
When you first connect to my PC / iPod Classik and Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S2) I was initially a little disappointed by the sound of the headphones. My taste in music covers a lot of tastes from (ranging from normal classic rock, metal, metalcore to Electro & Drum and Bass, Dubstep or sometimes some of the charts.
Especially in the direction of rock to metalcore (my preferred genre) arise in my opinion the greatest weaknesses of the standard tuning the EQ of the Revo.
In general, the sound seems a bit muffled and far in the distance which you have to make louder. The bass or shadows appear too strongly emphasized and nerves in the long run. Especially the drums seems much too intrusive. Guitar and voice on the other hand are heavily clouded. The heights I had thereby greatly korregieren or increase the contrast a little deep down korregieren. After this "fine tuning" the sound is now hervoragend and it makes a lot of fun with the Kopfhöhrern durchzuhöhren his music collection. Especially with a good "starting material" revealed the Revo can be full (> 192kB / s).
For me it is a mystery why so umbedingt on these "more bass Hype" must jump, where one sees but what the headphones is capable when korregiert the whole down. Because the difference between the default setting with the Headphones is shipped from the factory and my current settings is a difference like night and day for me. I hope the Jabra leaves this path in the future and lays on a orginalgeträue music playback value. If you like bass emphasis should adjust itself to get and not prescribed.
I can classik Listening to music with my iPod now unfortunately forgotten with the Revo because the iPod has only pre-settings of the EQ (here still a big thanks to Apple that you no individual EQ provides). Even with enhanced treble sounds all around and not annoying in the long run.
On my Samsung Galaxy S2 on the other hand I have the app "Poweramp" downloaded to want that without doing here Advertising you an integrated app with which I could adjust the headphones to my ideas. The sound is now in the process as it should.
The "included" app, however, is complete "botch" and acts not mature or halfheartedly programmed. The case courted "Dolby Digital Plus setting" degrades the musical picture in my opinion it clear once again why I've uninstalled the app again. The buttons on the headset run limited in Android unfortunately. This only works the Pause / Play button and the answering of incoming calls. The iPod function as far as all the keys as far as I could test it.
The seat of the headset is the extent actually quite pleasant, but it affects my very narrow head a tiny bit too wobbly on the go and might sit firmly.
Otherwise, there are of me just to say something to color, which is not described in the unfortunately black / red model in the description. The red is more of an orange.
Otherwise I am extremely zufieden with the Revo and they are for my price I paid for 46 really unbeatable price / performance ratio. Einzigst tuning the EQ was a bit time consuming.

I am still amazed by the extent Revo. The jack cable but now I need to replace, because the cable to the remote control had a loose connection, failed in the partially right speakers. Fortunately it is possible the cable disconnect easily and I now use the ribbon cable also on Amazon selling for 10
"Noontec HE3116 audio cable (3.5mm plug, 1.2m) for headphones with integrated microphone"
The cable works fine and matches the "Red" Revo.
