I bought the transparent shell because I wanted to get the original appearance as possible. This case is smooth and not like the colored satin. It fits perfectly and is easy to install (click principle). There are two separate parts that are attached separately. All connections are accessible unchanged. Nothing wobbles or rattles. The MacBook is only slightly thicker. There are no borders around the protrusion (except the small tabs of the clips that hold the cover on the Macbook)
I'm just a little unsure whether more frequent drain and Remount the aluminum of unibodies damage could be done by clips (?). It could also happen that the clips break through too frequent now and Remount, these seem a little thin. What I could notice that the shell dust quasi attracts Magnetic !!!! Although this is a star but less value may also be that this is an individual problem of their own environment.
Within the individual shells of shell small rubber studs are bringing a little distance between casing and MacBook. Here dirt could accumulate after a certain time (it is pointed out in the instructions for use).
What is noticeable is that the transparent case is highly scratch-prone. But what does not even bother me, since it is for there. Alternatively, I would have the scratches else on the MacBook. Front on the envelope is very present BACON on which personally does not bother me.
The case is well, so 5 stars. This is because I can get it here for about 30 euros and do not buy for 50 euros at Apple had. 50 euros is the part mE no means value. Otherwise strong buy recommendation.
