XXL (Jumbo)
Tile: 37 x 26.8 x 4,96mm, 8 grams, digit size 22mm
Aufstellbrett: 25 x 10cm; 3 rows a 9 pieces = max. 27 piece capacity
Fixed, flat shape; narrow tapering toward the front; in the 1 u. 2 series the stones are at 9 piece slightly over the edge. Ideals and max. Assembly would be 1 u. 2 series respectively 8, 3 series 9 pieces = max. 25 pieces capacity
To the point of the other reviews to read color fidelity, I have created detailed photos.
Original (Jumbo)
Tile: 39 x 27 x 4,85mm, 5 grams, digit size 12mm
Aufstellbrett: 33,5 x 9,3cm; 2 rows of 12 tiles = max. 24 piece capacity
Flexible, upright shape; central placement support at the back (looks a little filigree)
Classic Line (Schmidt Spiele)
Tile: 36 x 25.7 x 4.3mm, 5 grams, digit size 9mm
Aufstellbrett: 26 x 12,3cm; 3 rows a 9 pieces = max. 27 piece capacity
There are also 10 game pieces in a row, thus a total of 30 pieces capacity; the outer pieces are then but about 2mm beyond the edge of Aufstellbrettes addition.
Upright shape; 2 placement supports are inserted on the back (these have the space-saving packaging again after playing removed)
Thermal Rating
All pieces are high quality, durable and sturdy in your production.
The criticized in other reviews color fidelity in XXL tiles (red and orange) I can not confirm. See also detail photos.
The tokens from Schmidt Spiele have a much yellower tone. If Schmidt wanted to give games with the "Classic Line" the tiles a "antique" character, this has been achieved.
I personally favor the tokens from its original specification. Due to the round depression in the upper part they have the best handling and traction.
The Aufstellbretter in the original, as well as in the Schmidt Version mountains through the use of mechanical parts (placement supports) the risk of deterioration. Here would be a more stable version desirable.
This is much better resolved in XXL version. Bone of contention (for tactics) this remains but that the number of remaining pieces can be seen. When the boards upright the pieces are hidden.
