The new Panasonic is nice to look at. With its narrow silver frame he looks very noble. Unfortunately, not quite so successful, I find the distance between the two feet of 110cm, which exceeds the length of most of TV cabinets. A wall bracket is not possible in every apartment.
The feet themselves are quickly bolted and set up the device. Cable and HDMI cables plugged in, you can already start commissioning. Although a manual has been supplied, one can make the installation even without, so easy is the whole.
THE IMAGE: The device has 3D and 4K (3850x2160 pixels resolution). Regarding 4K, there is yet no proper 4K movies on the German market. Exceptions are half a dozen documentaries, which may be obtained, however, only on a stick.
That's why "confine" I am with the fact that the Panasonic upscaled my normal DVDs and BRDS. When TV screen a significant improvement on my previous Panasonic has already occurred television. For DVD and Blu-Ray I see the quantum leap in image enhancement not necessarily!
What I am, however, very relieved, is the fact that I could see no Clouding up now. That was one of the biggest concerns that I had a new TV before buying.
Is recommended to change the default image settings to your preference. Since you can not quite get out of image quality. Who wants to see 3D, however still needs to get an extra 3D glasses, which is in fact not included.
THE SOUND: As with all TVs, the sound is a weak point. But I was very surprised at what had teased out settings for a more than acceptable sound from the speakers by my revised menu. Done anyway my 5.1 For normal TV usage more than good, for feature films, DVD or Blu-Ray. - Plant their service.
Whoever wants to can of course connect the Panasonic to the Internet. Since there is then the possibility of using various apps, streaming services, etc. etc.
Conclusion: for me as a film freak, the focus of a TV device clearly in the classical requirements: very good picture, good sound, easy operation. For my needs, this is the new Panasonic met to my complete satisfaction.
For Internet activities I do not need a TV, but I have my laptop, 3D is not my thing, and 4K - we'll see.
