After a long search, I decided to buy the Qumox USB 3.0. Statements about the shipping conditions are totally irrelevant at Amazon as excellent !!! The package includes the scope burner and two USB cables (one for an additional power supply, the other for the connection to the terminal). Is to note that I added "power cord" so far not had to use. A bare blank is the package not included. The (first) of operation proves to be very user-friendly: plugging, (device drivers are automatically installed in a period of seconds), and get going! There is thus no software for the operating assumption required, so the burner even for laymen provides a solid starting point. However, a burning software is not in and has to be purchased separately by the user. Highly recommended is the USB 3.0 port, because the data transfer over 2.0 is much higher. Of course, the burner can also be operated with a USB 2.0, but it has to be expected with a lower data transmission. The torch was tested with the following blanks: Verbatim 43811 25GB BD-R and Mediarange MR 507 50Gb BD-R DL. He could yet describe all blanks of both companies without errors!
Positive aspects (+): + Beautiful appearance + Cost + Low noise emission + Recognizes all formats right away (both 25Gb blanks and blanks 5GB) + Faster burning process (50GB in 1h30. Via USB 3.0)
Negative aspects (-): - No software for data processing and playback available - No (test) blanks available
Conclusion: For an affordable rate you get a reliable and visually handsome burner of his duties he discontinued solid fulfilled. A burning software with associated blank would crown the offer.
