I just installed it on my Lenovo X201. I went from 4 GB to 6 GB.
it is a module with 8 chips on each side.

it works well: after a few hours the computer is still stable.
with other memories (4 chips per side); After 5 minutes I had a kernel Panic (equivalent of a blue screen).

I added this comment because for a long time, I was looking in the comments of 4GB strips compatible with Lenovo X200 or X201.
