For a wedding, I would have needed to complement interiors a highly light-strong "normal lens". The goal would have been at full aperture and to 2.8 in the Church good quality images is not too high ISO number to customize. The converted 45 mm would have been ideal for my point of view. The lens was delivered very quickly - it pleases by its high-quality workmanship. At the Nikon D7100 unfortunately I could not achieve absolutely sharp image at full aperture, the internal Focus correction of the D7100 did not help, because the sharpness each time somewhere else jumped. From f 4 this focus error is determined not reduce the quality but I would like to take the open aperture! With manual focus and Live View I could enjoy the full sharpness of the optics, really very good. Here the electronic interaction does not seem to work properly - to a D800 the same picture. For snapshots I have to but könnnen rely on the autofocus, so the nice piece went back back to Amazon - all problems, for this service 5 star. As a substitute I can deliver 1.8 / 28 my Nikkor AF-S, here the AF works at least fail. In defense of the Sigma I must say that even the Nikkon 1.8 / 28 it also creates only about 70% the to meet desired focus point and produced only at f 2.8 useful sharp images (with the D800). The Nikkor I kept, it is easy and from Aperture 2.8 / 4 very well on the D800 and at maximum aperture also very good at Nikkon D7100. For the Sigma I do vll. Even a later attempt with my Sony Alpha 58, here me a bright missing lightweight wide-angle or a "weitwinkeligeres" normal lens. I suppose it was an initial error of the early mass production, it would be desirable if the 1.4 / 30 from Sigma would learn from work from a better quality control and firmware software even better matures.
