And suddenly you realize that Deicide open a whole new door: You do not dissolve eideutig from Pogo-Electro but fill a small niche of the deconstruction of Hiphop: They only celebrate words, slogans and names. And Deicide herein are really big class: "Do you hear the signals" seals left slogans to toasts and thus says eideutig: It is not about ideological Politikgebollze, but just about drinking and partying either. "Big belly" is mega danceable beats and the obsession with beauty society massively in the face, and is so wonderfully self-deprecating that you want to embrace the band. "Work sucks" is then a track for disengagement, you just want more bounce, the old party anthems seem topped because the party level remains the same, but the critique of abstract labor increases the suversive force. And so you are left with an album with a few Topsongs and the shabby feeling that Deichkind could achieve much more than having a mere justification for new T-shirts with slogans and Kozerttouren. So it's just a very good party-CD. Maybe that's enough the men from northern Germany, too. It therefore has a good record. But just somehow.
