Everything is going exactly as I hoped it. Spotify works perfectly, vTuner - as usual from the TV - bring me all the home stations into the house. The control of all components - including the CD player in my remaining hi-fi system - went quickly and is intuitive. Currently my NAD stereo system runs as Zone 2, so I can do the boxes for listening to and adjust the boxes on Onkyo ideal for surround sound. But absolute Sahnetüpfelchen is the control of our Androids out (pity that even this app knows no landscape mode).
For lack of automatic calibration, what the direct predecessor still had, I can only say for myself, because the boxes are set twice once in the rule or that convenience functions, WRAT or HDMI Preview of 414 me are clearly important, as these be used more consistently.
Sure this device will make even good services in the coming years and impressive moments contribute.
Thus I put the rating on full 5 stars up and now give a clear conscience, a clear buy recommendation - especially at this price. If you are looking to date rather THX and 7.2 should therefore view the TX-NR616, the for under 400, - EUR is likely to apply as a real baby at a competitive price.

On Thursday I received this receiver after a very short delivery time and built up on the evening including JBL 5.1 speaker set. This was done to select the device based on the number of connections, the derived from my past good perception of the brand Onkyo and the online capabilities caused the title of review.
ONLY, I had not expected that Onkyo has a massive problem with halfway reasonable integrate HDMI into the TX-NR series. Because the TV was and remains black, no input signal is detected. I have a Samsung LE46C750, who recognized nothing - or better, which is not recognized by Onkyo. Even the tentatively connected Samsung SyncMaster P2450 showed the same behavior. So I went on a search and had to my shame - I had previously done some research - recognize that it has been reported by those same problems in something more elaborate and targeted search especially in Onkyo USA. Even buyers from Belgium and France inscribed there in search of support from Onkyo. The problem of course is that it does not occur every time, but it rather randomly, as is attributable to a precise scheme.
My cables are all designed of high quality and at high speed and kept as short as possible, since I use 3D but no Beamer ansteuere. All my sources HDMI function directly on the TV without any problems (Samsung Blue Ray, TechniSat receivers and XBOX 360).
Currently a support question on my part at Onkyo pending, I can perform update without image output no firmware. If you change the state nothing, the unit will unfortunately back to Amazon, which I would find very unfortunate person.
