Jump right in - midtempo, not very countryesk, roughly equivalent to Let it go, as usual tempo and rhythm changes. Keyboard reminiscent of Van Morrison.
Uncaged - really trippy, so courageous in the extreme type, each typical Nashville-consumer will be frightened art rock / prog rock, terrible.. Guarantees no single, but could live powerful rock the hut.
Goodbye In Her Eyes - suggests as the title ballad, not very catchy, I think.
The wind - ZBB at its best. Uptempo bluegrass, Could not be better. First single (herewith also the typical country music audience will cope ;-)
Iceland song - the mandatory Reggae. Played great and sang, not the most brilliant songwriting.
Sweet Annie - was, almost as a harbinger to Uncaged, already played a lot of live (perhaps a piece from the Independent-time?). Very nice ballad.
Natural Disaster - Holla, another surprise: initially sounds extremely like Mumford & Sons. Whether Zac knows anyway? Great melody strong song. Too short.
Overnight - Smooth Soul, something completely different. With Trombone Shorty. Discreetly jazzy.
Lance's Song - is rushed past me.
Day That I Die - goosebumps, mega awesome (Sorry for the word). The chorus skin me completely off my feet. Without too much from text to betray Zac's Anticipated Testament. Duet with Amos Lee.
Last but not least - laid back, reminiscent in part to James Taylor, the song grows, at the end singing Clay Cook.
Conclusion (after the first hearing): slightly weaker than the previous, however an incredible band. All songs somehow too short (?). Far past the country Mainstream (where was actually Country?).
