A milestone in the history of music

A milestone in the history of music has succeeded with her second album "Nevermind" Nirvana, which was published in the fall of 1991 and a true hype around the band for one and everything that came from Seattle triggered.
Compared to the debut album "Bleach" (1989), the band presented musically matured significantly, which is also due to the new line well. Drummer Chad Channing was replaced by the later "Foo Fighters" frontman Dave Grohl, which is a significant gain. Unlike Channing succeeds Grohl to keep the clock and give the songs more character. No longer there is to "Nevermind" and the second guitarist Jason Everman, who in any case never could have great accents.
To a trio and with a new drummer Nirvana draws all his talent from which was only suggested to see "Bleach" or heard. The songs do not sound more raw and unpolished, but homogeneous, rhythmically and melodically quite. This course is also to some extent the fact that "Nevermind" was produced for a wider market, while the predecessor was intended as a plate for a few insiders.
"Nevermind" is not just music historically important, it is also a brilliant piece of music. This is an already from the first chords of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" clear the song that became the anthem of the global generation X (after Douglas Coupland's novel). Nirvana made it with this album trigger a global hysteria, as one previously knew only by the Beatles - and probably unintentionally and without penetrating marketing of resourceful marketing experts. Not skillful advertising, but the quality of the music and especially the charisma of frontman Kurt Cobain made this band and this album great.
Nirvana were and still are to this day still a Phänömen that it (unfortunately) will probably be a second time more. Other disappears after a few years into oblivion and be forgotten. "Nevermind", however, is made for eternity.
